In US-China E-Language Learning System, China and the U.S. collaborate on a research and development (R&D) effort to develop and test the effectiveness of a Chinese and English learning program named 'CHENGO'' (in Chinese ‘乘风chengfeng' ). The Chinese program is mainly developed by the Chinese MOE, and the English by the USED.' CHENGO' is targeted at Chinese and American middle school students of 12-18 years of age. In the theme of Olympics, its story is developed in language camps and home-stay life. It presents 35 50-minute episodes in a mystery format and a gaming environment.
